Our roots trace back to April 4th, 1918, when our forefathers started crafting handmade footwear in a small village near Agra. At that time, the village was known for its traditional shoe-making skills, and we quickly became a trusted name within the local community. What began as a small-scale operation focused on serving the footwear needs of local villagers, soon began to grow as we garnered recognition for the superior quality of our products.

- Expanding Horizons - A Partnership with British Shoe Companies

In the 1940s, under the visionary leadership of our founder, we made a pivotal move that would change the course of our company’s history. The founder’s foresight and dedication led to our first significant breakthrough when we started supplying footwear to a renowned British shoe company as well as Flex Shoes. This collaboration not only expanded our reach but also marked the beginning of our journey into larger markets.

As demand grew, we slowly expanded our operations and spread to Agra and Kanpur, two key cities in India known for their thriving footwear industries. The reputation for quality and craftsmanship that we had built in our village was now being recognized by businesses and customers across the region.

1985

A New Chapter in Women’s Footwear

In 1985, recognizing the growing demand for women’s footwear, we expanded our range and began manufacturing ladies’ shoes. This strategic decision proved to be highly successful, and soon we were supplying high-quality women’s footwear to major brands such as Bata and Carona Shoes.

Our entry into this market helped us diversify our offerings and establish a strong presence in both men’s and women’s footwear, further cementing our reputation as a leading manufacturer.

1985

Recently, we launched our own e-commerce platform under the brand name Hide and Leather, with the goal of bringing high-quality leather footwear directly to customers’ homes. Through our online presence, we aim to offer a seamless shopping experience while maintaining the same level of craftsmanship and quality that has been the hallmark of YZ Buyer since its inception.

Our ambition is clear – to become one of the top Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and online retailers for leather shoes in India and across the globe.
